How do artists impact and contribute to society?  What responsibilities do governments have to maintain and foster cultural services and institutions?

This section investigates the relationship between music, music education, societies and governments, and its articles explore ideas, provide tools and reflections on how to strengthen these relations. 

Explore content on the social engagement and social conscience of musicians and Higher Music Education Institutions, and the political responsibility towards the arts and arts education. 

The content of this section will be mainly provided by a working group, consisting of experts selected from the European Higher Music Education community.
