Resources on how to deal with bias and racism in the classroom
The recent murder of George Floyd and the resulting protests against racism and police brutality not only in the USA but also throughout Europe has been an important reminder of how discrimination, systemic racism and violence against different parts of the population is still present. These are issues that we as higher music education institutions also have to face and talk about. We from the Working Group on Diversity, Inclusion and Identity have compiled a list of some useful resources which might help in moving the conversation forward within your institutions:
