In the third year of the Strengthening Music in Society project, the Early Childhood Music Education Working Group (ECME WG) comes close to finalising its first outcomes.

In this video, WG member Natassa Economidou from the University of Nicosia, Cyprus presents the progress of the WG so far, as well as the next steps in 2021. The video was initially shown at the AEC Annual Congress on 6-7 November and is a snapshot of the progress of the ECME WG at the end of the third year of the project.

In addition to Natassa Economidou’s video, WG member Michael Dartsch from the University of Music Saar in Saarbrücken, Germany presents more in-depth insights into the work on the Guidebook for Early Childhood Music Education, which is one of the main outcomes of the ECME WG. In this video, Michael Dartsch presents one of the chapters of the book dealing with pedagogical principles.
